YOU'VE HEARD OF POVERTY, BUT HAVE YOU HEARD OF BIBLE POVERTY?

When you think of all the wars, antagonsim against translation, and perversion of doctrine by various rulers and groups for their own purposes, it's amazing that the Bible has been preserved in its English translation for us today. NASB, ESV, NIV, CEV, KJV, AMP--we have more translations of the Bible than we can count.

Can you imagine, then, never having heard one single word of God's message in your own language? Sound primitive? Foreign?

Sadly, this is the reality for over 98 million people worldwide.

And this is the mission of Voice for the Bible-Less. Our group's goal is to raise awareness of Bible poverty, support Bible translation projects, and attend the annual Race to 2025, an annual event put on by Wycliffe that consists of days of camping, physical activity, and linguistic exercises designed  to give first-hand experience of Bible translation, to fundraise for Bible translation projects, and to train up a new generation of Bible translators.
